Sugar Land, TX – Two people are dead and another person is critically injured following a wrong-way traffic collision in Sugar Land early Monday morning, according to Sugar Land police.

2 SUV Drivers Die in Monday Morning Sugar Land Wrong-Way Accident on US-90
Sugar Land police said a preliminary investigation showed that a Honda Pilot was traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes of U.S. 90 when it collided head-on with a Toyota Highlander. Two people were inside the Highlander at the time of the accident.
Both drivers were killed in the accident. The names of the victims were withheld pending family notification. The passenger in the Highlander was critically injured and was transported to the hospital, Sugar Land police said.
No additional details regarding the accident were provided.
The accident remains under investigation.
